 About Me A Joyful Heart Face Painting was started in the Spring of 2008. My first official face painting event was for the 1st Annual Southwest Michigan Arthritis Walk. What an honor for me to partner with Angela Widdis, a life-long friend of mine, in this fund raising effort. Contact me for pricing details. Your Safety is my #1 Priority! I use SNAZAROO face painting make-up which is FDA compliant and is the only face paint on the market with a Child Toy Safety Rating. I have added Diamond FX and Mehron to my gear. Both of these are FDA compliant, water-based face painting cosmetics which also remove easily with baby wipes or soap and water. Additionally, I practice strict hygienic guidelines to ensure the safety of every person I paint. Anyone who appears sick, seems feverish, has a rash, boo-boo, or any other potential issue will be offered a temporary tattoo instead of face painting. My tools (brushes, sponges, etc) are cleaned after each event using a strict protocol involving specially formulated brush cleaner followed by boiling rinse water. I even disinfect the containers I carry my supplies in after each event and again as I'm re-packing. I want your experience to be wonderful so hygiene is even more important to me than creativity!
